All vampires live under a hierarchy in which their roles are already decided for them. While some vampires rebel against the empire many honor it and obey. The Hierarchy is as such:
Ancients: These are pure bloods that survive the blood tears or the vampire Inquisition as it is also called. These vampires are usually over two thousand years old. The oldest Takeshi Segumi is ten thousand years old.
Princes: These are young pureblood who are all under one thousand years of age. They are the forefront leaders of the empire and can control others in it just with their voice.
Nobles: These are the children of purebloods and a human. Although they have many of the powers [purebloods do they still must obey the purebloods if they use their voice.
Archangels: These are vampires who was turned and given their makers blood. Because of this they are full vampires. these are the middle class of the vampire world.
Seraphims:These are the lower class of the vampire world. Unlike archangels they did not receive their master blood so they stayed slave to their master.
Cherubim: These are the vessels or protectors of nobles and pureblood vampires. Why they themselves are not vampires. They are treated as such with all the benefits. Vessel drink the blood of their master to receive great strength though they do not receive nutrition from it. Though vessels have fangs they are not vampires.
Wyrm: These are the fallen Seraphim who turned to the dark side of their blood and became raving beast. It is said that in this state they can injure a pureblood. These are only beasts and are given to the Vessels to kill.
